Why this spot

Simple and it works

On the i30N the headlamp-cap location is one of the few spots in the engine bay that's easy to reach and hose-run friendly. Bolt the mount to that cap, strap a generic catch can to it, and you're done.

  • Generic catch can fitment — any can with a strap clamp.
  • Piggybacks the headlamp cap — no new fasteners in the chassis.
  • Short hose runs — direct path to the PCV outlet.
  • Easy to remove — single bolt out and the whole assembly drops.
  • Heat-stable polymer — lives near the head without deforming.
  • Clean look — sits where the headlamp cap used to, nothing hanging loose.

Closing note

Catch can not included

You bring the catch can and the hoses. The mount is the dull-but-important bit that makes sure the setup ends up tidy instead of flapping around under the hood.

Fits Hyundai i30N (PD). Works with any catch can that has a strap clamp up to ~80 mm diameter.
